Senator and Alderman Silverstein respond to death of Israeli teens

silverstein-042313br0253CHICAGO – State Senator Ira I. Silverstein (D-Chicago) and Alderman Debra Silverstein (D-50th Ward) express their deep sympathy to the families of Naftali Fraenkel, Gilad Sharr and Eyal Yifrach over their tragic loss.

“This horrific act was not only a crime against Israel and the Jewish people but against humanity. We should be nurturing our children not making them targets. We should all work to eliminate such hatred from this world, especially the Middle East. Our hearts and prayers are with the families. They should know no more sorrow.”

On Monday, the Israeli Defense Force reported finding the bodies of the three Israeli teens who disappeared June 12.
